Yogyakarta's Per Capita PDRB Decreased in 2020

The regional gross domestic product (RGDP) per capita at current prices in Yogyakarta was recorded at Rp 35.6 million. This figure decreased by 3% compared to the previous year, which was Rp 36.7 million.

Meanwhile, the RGDP at constant prices in Yogyakarta was recorded at Rp 26.2 million last year. This value also decreased by 3.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, which reached Rp 27.2 million.

Based on regencies/cities, the highest per capita RGDP in the province was in Yogyakarta City. At current prices, the per capita RGDP in Yogyakarta City reached Rp 82.05 million. Meanwhile, the per capita RGDP at constant prices in the city reached Rp 61.97 million.

Meanwhile, the lowest per capita RGDP in Yogyakarta was in Gunung Kidul Regency. At current prices, the per capita RGDP in Gunung Kidul Regency was Rp 25.32 million. The per capita RGDP at constant prices in the regency was Rp 18.04 million.

Per capita RGDP is the average income of the population obtained from dividing the RGDP by the population in a certain region in a particular year. The higher the per capita income, the more prosperous the region.
