What is Indonesia's National Income?

Indonesia's national income in 2017 grew by 6.53% to Rp 10,050.2 trillion from the previous year. Meanwhile, the average growth of national income during the 2011-2017 period was 9.1% per year.

With a population of 261.89 million, the per capita national income last year was Rp 38.38 million, representing a 5.76% increase from the previous year. For the 2011-2017 period, per capita national income experienced an average annual growth of 7.67%.

National income represents all income received by all members of society or all households within a country over a specific period, usually one year. National income can also be interpreted as national production output, meaning the value of production generated by all members of a country's society within a specific period, usually one year.
