4. Istiqlal Mosque (Jakarta) – 120,000 worshippers
5. Hassan II Mosque (Casablanca) – 105,000 worshippers
6. Imam Reza Shrine (Mashhad) – 100,000 worshippers
7. Badshahi Mosque (Lahore) – 60,000 worshippers
8. Al-Saleh Mosque (Yemen) – 44,000 worshippers
9. Sheikh Zayed Mosque (Abu Dhabi) – 40,000 worshippers
10. Jama Masjid (Delhi) – 25,000 worshippers

The Al-Haram Mosque holds the top spot as the world's largest mosque, with a capacity of up to 2 million worshippers. This mosque was built before 622 AD and covers an area of approximately 4,008,020 square meters.

This mosque is considered a holy place for Muslims because it houses the Kaaba, the focal point of the Islamic faith.

The Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta is also included in the list of the world's largest mosques. Not only is it large, but the Istiqlal Mosque is also incredibly beautiful and luxurious. In 2020, a revitalization project for the Istiqlal Mosque was undertaken, costing Rp 475 billion.
