2022 Oscars: Dune Wins Awards, CODA Wins Best Picture

The film *Dune* won six awards at the 2022 Oscars. Meanwhile, *CODA* was named Best Picture.

*Dune*'s six awards were for Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Production Design, and Best Visual Effects. The film, adapted from the novel of the same name, had a production budget of US$165 million.

*CODA* won two awards in addition to Best Picture: Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur and Best Adapted Screenplay.

*The Eyes of Tammy Faye*, a film about televangelist Tammy Faye, was the third film to win more than one award, taking home Best Actress for Jessica Chastain and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
