This Sony Pictures-produced animated film was released on Netflix on June 20, 2025, and had been viewed 518.3 million times by the end of the year.

The story of KPop Demon Hunters centers on a fictional K-Pop group named Huntr/x, who play dual roles, namely being popular idols and demon hunters to protect humans from the threat of demons led by Gwi-Ma.

Then, the evil demons retaliate against Huntr/x by forming a demon boyband called Saja Boys.

In addition to the film, the background songs of KPop Demon Hunters have also gained popularity and successfully broken into the Billboard charts. One of them is the song "Golden", which topped the Billboard Hot 100 main single chart for three consecutive weeks.
