Attending music festivals has become a lifestyle for some people in big cities, especially for those who love music. Music festivals are often flooded with music lovers from various countries.

According to farandwide.com, Donauinselfest is the world's largest music festival, attracting up to 3 million attendees. Held in Vienna, Austria in 2013, Donauinselfest featured all genres of music, including rock, pop, rap, hip-hop, electronic music, folk, metal, blues, and reggae.

The next largest music festival is Mawazine, held in Morocco in 2009, with 2.5 million attendees. Following that is the Montreal International Jazz Festival, which drew 2 million people.

Next is Summerfest in the United States, the next largest music festival with 830,000 attendees in 2017. The Woodstock (Pol'and'Rock) festival in Poland recorded 750,000 attendees, and Rock in Rio in Brazil had 700,000.
