The Price of Sandra Dewi's Rolls-Royce Ghost, Seized in the Tin Case

Two luxury cars belonging to Harvey Moeis, husband of actress Sandra Dewi, have been seized by investigators from the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung).

According to *Katadata*, the seizure is part of an investigation into corruption in the tin trade within the Mining Business License (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk from 2015 to 2022, with Harvey Moeis as a suspect.

The seized cars are a Rolls-Royce and a Mini Cooper. Director of Investigation (Dirdik) Jampidsus, Kuntadi, confirmed this information.

"Correct [seizure of Rolls-Royce] and Mini Cooper," said Kuntadi on Monday evening (1/4/2024).

Kuntadi stated that investigators conducted a search of Harvey Moeis's home in the Pakubuwono area, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/4/2024). After the seizure, the luxury vehicles were taken to the Attorney General's Office on the same day, around 11:00 PM WIB.

The search was conducted after Sandra Dewi's husband was named a suspect on Wednesday (27/3/2024). Harvey Moeis is allegedly an extension of PT RBT.

The seized Mini Cooper is a Countryman F60. The Rolls-Royce is a black Ghost model with a special license plate bearing the initials SDW.

This car was given by Harvey to Sandra Dewi as a 40th birthday present last year. The actress's Rolls-Royce Ghost is an Extended Wheelbase edition with a 6,592 cc engine. This car is from England.

According to *Car and Driver*, the Ghost is an entry-level Rolls-Royce, but still considered an exceptional car.

"*Car and Driver* wrote, 'The standard and optional equipment list is impressively long, and Rolls-Royce offers an ever-evolving list of additional features and customizations.'"

The official Rolls-Royce website lists the starting price of the Ghost at US$400,000 in 2023. Currently, there are at least four types of Ghost on the market.

The Ghost Black Badge is the most expensive at US$416,000 or Rp6.62 billion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,919 per US$), based on prices compiled by *Car and Driver* in 2024.

Second, the Ghost Extended Wheelbase (Sandra Dewi's car) is US$402,000 or Rp6.40 billion.

Third, the Ghost Prism Edition is US$379,000 or Rp6.03 billion. Fourth, the Rolls-Royce Ghost is priced at US$354,000 or Rp5.64 billion.

Note that these prices are based on research from the United States. The price of Rolls-Royce in Indonesia may differ.

*Car and Driver* writes that the Ghost is powered by a 6.7-liter V-12 engine producing 563 hp, shared with the Cullinan SUV; the Black Badge model gets a power boost to 592 hp.

Rolls-Royce claims the Ghost can reach 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. The Rolls-Royce Ghost also offers sharp handling, with an all-wheel-steering system and a 50/50 weight distribution.

"*Car and Driver* wrote, 'The Ghost delivers an unparalleled ride thanks to its standard adaptive suspension, which uses road-scanning cameras to help the vehicle anticipate and compensate for potholes.'"
