In the 2022 State Budget (RAPBN), the government targets economic growth of 5.0-5.5% and inflation of 3% (year on year/yoy). As a result, bond prices rose at the beginning of this week. The Indonesia Bond Composite Index (ICBI) of the Indonesian Capital Market Supervisory Board (PHEI) closed up 0.2309 points (0.07%) at 323.9901 on Monday, August 16, 2021, from the previous closing.

Similarly, the INDOBex Composite Clean Price closed up 0.0639 points (0.05%) at 120.2547 today from the previous weekend's closing. However, the yield on government bonds decreased by 0.00161 points (0.27%) to 5.9677 from the previous closing.

On the other hand, the INDOBex Government Total Return closed up 0.2222 points (0.07%) at 317.6968 from the previous closing. Likewise, the INDOBex Corporate Total Return closed up 0.3148 points (0.09%) at 354.6781.

Quoting Bloomberg, the Rupiah exchange rate closed up Rp 15 (0.01%) to Rp 14,372.5 per US dollar today from the previous closing. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange closed down 51.58 points (0.84%) at 6,087.91 at the beginning of this week from the previous closing.
