The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) weakened by 0.09% to 6,882.70 at the close of trading on Tuesday (25/6/2024).

Based on the IDX-IC Sectoral Index, seven sectors experienced corrections today. The primary consumer goods sector fell the most, by 1.72%, followed by the transportation and technology sectors, which fell by 0.86% and 0.74%, respectively.

The issuer with the code MKNT was the top loser today after plunging 50%, followed by PAMG and FILM, which fell by 14.86% and 14.12%, respectively.

On the other hand, the top gainer today was TRON, which soared 34.83%, followed by BAJA and AHAP, which rose by 22.11% and 13.48%, respectively.

Almost all Asian stock exchanges closed in the green this afternoon. The Nikkei index rose 0.96% to 39,173.10, the Hang Seng index rose 0.25% to 18,027.90, the Straits Times index rose 0.37% to 3,326.28, while the Shanghai index fell 0.44% to 2,950.
