KIC Survey: Ajaib is Indonesia's Favorite Stock Investment Platform

According to a survey by the Katadata Insight Center, Ajaib is the most widely used stock investment platform in Indonesia. 35.5% of respondents reported using Ajaib for their stock investments.

Gen Z users comprised the largest group of Ajaib users at 41% of respondents. This was followed by Gen Y at 34.1% and Gen X & Boomers at 31%.

IPOT from Indo Premier Sekuritas ranked second with 31.2% usage. Unlike Ajaib, IPOT was more popular among Gen X & Boomers (41.4%). This was followed by Gen Y at 29.9% and Gen Z at 30.8%.

HOTS from Mirae Sekuritas Indonesia ranked third with 10.6% usage. Gen X & Boomers were the largest user group for HOTS (17.2%), followed by Gen Y (10.3%) and Gen Z (9%).

This survey was conducted by the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) in collaboration with Zigi and Sisi+ from September 6-12, 2021.

A total of 1,939 respondents participated in the survey, spread across 33 Indonesian provinces. The online survey employed a non-probability sampling method, with a margin of error of approximately 2.23%.
