The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) weakened by 20.57 points or 0.30% to 6,940.88 at the close of trading on Tuesday (3/10/2023).

The weakening of the stock index today was driven by the decline of several large issuers such as ADRO and GOTO. ADRO closed down 4.27%, while GOTO fell 2.35%.

MITI was today's top loser after weakening by 12.62%, followed by WIDI and DEWI which contracted by 9.76% and 9.68% respectively.

On the other hand, today's top gainer was FIRE, which strengthened by 27.54%, followed by TOOL and INET, which strengthened by 25.86% and 25% respectively.

The majority of stocks closed lower today. Specifically, 331 stocks weakened, 193 stocks strengthened, and 226 stocks were stagnant.

Meanwhile, regional Asian stock exchanges tended to weaken this afternoon. The Nikkei Index weakened by 1.64% to 31,237.90, the Hang Seng Index weakened by 2.69% to 17,331.22, the Shanghai Index was stagnant at 3,110.89, while the Strait Times Index weakened by 0.51% to 3,192.35.
