Unilever Indonesia Tbk. will distribute an interim dividend of Rp63 per share for the 2023 fiscal year.
The 2023 interim dividend is taken from a net profit of Rp2.4 trillion out of a total of Rp4.18 trillion as of September 2023. In total, the basic share profit distribution is Rp110 per share, down 9.09% year-on-year (yoy) compared to last year.
The distribution for the 2022 fiscal year reached Rp121 per share. The interim dividend last year was Rp69 per share. The profit allocated for the 2022 dividend amounted to Rp2.70 trillion.
As shown in the graph, the 2023 interim dividend is the lowest in the last 13 years. The second lowest interim dividend was in 2021, at Rp66 per share.
Based on the announcement from the Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI), as quoted by Katadata on Thursday (22/11/2023), the following is the schedule for the Unilever Indonesia interim dividend payment:

2023 Performance Down
The net profit of the UNVR-coded issuer amounted to Rp4.18 trillion in September 2023. This figure plummeted 9.16% (yoy) from the previous Rp4.61 trillion in September 2022.
In addition to profit, net sales also decreased. Sales were recorded at Rp30.50 trillion in September 2023, down 3.27% (yoy) from Rp31.53 trillion in September 2022.
According to Katadata, home and personal care products dominated the company's sales, contributing Rp19.92 trillion or 65.3% of the company's total sales.
The former President Director of Unilever Indonesia, Ira Noviarti, stated that the foods and refreshment segment recorded sales of Rp10.58 trillion or 34.69% of total sales.
Domestic market sales still dominated with a value of Rp29.55 trillion, while export sales reached Rp951.84 billion.
