The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthened by 0.37% to 7,327.58 at the close of trading on Friday (July 12, 2024).

Almost all Asian regional exchanges closed in the green this afternoon. The Hang Seng Index strengthened by 2.59% to 18,293.38, the Shanghai Index strengthened by 0.03% to 2,971.29, the Straits Times Index strengthened by 0.65% to 3,497.78, while the Nikkei Index weakened by 2.45% to 41,190.69.
