The JCI's Movement in 2025 was Higher Than the Chinese and US Stock Market Indices

From the beginning of the year to the end of 2025, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) strengthened 22.13% (year-to-date/ytd).

This JCI performance is quite strong compared to other countries' stock market indices, ranking 19th out of 35 countries monitored by the IDX.

The JCI's percentage movement in 2025 was even higher than the SSE Composite Index (China), which rose 18.30% (ytd), and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (United States), which rose 13.69% (ytd).

However, the JCI's performance is still below that of the VN-Index (Vietnam), which rose 39.48% (ytd) over the past year.
