The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) strengthened by 3.39 points or 0.05% to 6,935.15 at the close of trading on Thursday (12/10/2023).

Issuer OPMS became the top gainer after strengthening by 34.55%, followed by issuers STRK and IPTV, which strengthened by 34.07% and 28.3%, respectively.

Meanwhile, today's top loser was MUTU, which weakened by 18.75%, followed by KOKA and APEX, which contracted by 16.47% and 9.3%, respectively.

Although the index strengthened, the majority of shares closed weaker today. Specifically, 330 shares closed weaker, 221 shares strengthened, and 206 shares were stagnant.

Asian regional stock exchanges generally strengthened this afternoon. The Nikkei index strengthened by 1.75% to 32,494.69, the Hang Seng index strengthened by 1.93% to 18,238.21, the Shanghai index weakened by 0.94% to 3,107.90, and the Strait Times index strengthened by 0.81% to 3,218.69.
