State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with the Highest Debt in 2022

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has compiled the liabilities or debts of companies under the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

The largest is the finance and insurance industry, amounting to Rp4.628 trillion in 2022. This comprises current liabilities of Rp3.868 trillion and non-current liabilities of Rp760.47 trillion.

The second largest is mining and quarrying at Rp756.25 trillion.

Third is electricity and gas supply at Rp632.82 trillion.

Fourth is wholesale and retail trade; repair of vehicles and transportation and warehousing at Rp464.06 trillion.

Fifth is the construction sector at Rp306.47 trillion.

The remainder includes manufacturing, real estate, and water supply; waste management, waste disposal, and recycling.

The total liabilities of SOEs based on these 10 business fields reached Rp7.237 trillion in 2022.
