State Revenue Performance Continues to Improve, Reaching Rp 1,699.4 Trillion in November 2021

State revenue performance continues to improve, indicating that economic recovery is ongoing. The Ministry of Finance reported that state revenue realization until the end of November 2021 reached Rp 1,699.4 trillion, a 19.4% increase from Rp 1,423.1 trillion in November 2020 (year-on-year/yoy).

The yoy growth in state revenue in November 2021 was higher than the growth in the previous month. In October 2021, state revenue realization only grew by 18.2% (yoy).

State revenue realization in November 2021 almost reached the target set in the 2021 State Budget (APBN), reaching 97.5% of the target. The target for state revenue in this year's APBN was recorded at Rp 1,743.6 trillion.

In detail, state revenue from taxes amounted to Rp 1,082.6 trillion in November 2021. This figure increased by 17% from Rp 925.3 trillion in November 2020 (yoy).

State revenue realization from customs and excise duties was recorded at Rp 232.3 trillion in November 2021. This figure grew by 26.6% compared to November 2020, which was Rp 183.5 trillion (yoy).

Meanwhile, non-tax state revenue (PNBP) amounted to Rp 382.5 trillion in November 2021. This figure increased by 25.4% from the same period last year, which was Rp 305 trillion.

Furthermore, state expenditure until the end of November 2021 reached Rp 2,310.4 trillion, growing by 0.1% from Rp 2,308.2 trillion in November 2020 (yoy). Therefore, Indonesia still experienced a budget deficit of Rp 611 trillion, or 3.63% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
