International unhusked rice prices on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, fell compared to the previous day. Daily transactions for unhusked rice contracts for the next two months were traded at USD 15.138 per hundredweight. This is equivalent to Rp 4,920 per kg, calculated using Bank Indonesia's recorded exchange rate of Rp 16,234 per dollar.

Based on historical data from investing.com, Katadata Insight Center (KIC) calculations show that the average unhusked rice price for the last week was USD 15.164 per hundredweight. This average price is higher than the previous week's recorded price of USD 15.06 per hundredweight.

Meanwhile, the monthly unhusked rice price has shown a downward trend over the past 30 days. The average unhusked rice price for August is recorded at USD 15.15 per hundredweight, down 4.17 percent compared to the previous month's price of USD 15.81 per hundredweight. The highest average monthly unhusked rice price in the last 12 months was recorded in May 2024.
