International unhusked rice prices on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, saw an increase compared to the previous day. Daily transactions for unhusked rice contracts two months out were traded at USD 14.99 per hundredweight. This is equivalent to Rp 4,770 per kg, calculated using the Bank Indonesia exchange rate of Rp 15,914 per dollar.

Katadata Insight Center (KIC) calculations, based on historical data from investing.com, show that the average unhusked rice price over the last week was USD 14.934 per hundredweight. This average price is down compared to the previous week, which was recorded at USD 15.18 per hundredweight.

Meanwhile, over the month, unhusked rice prices have shown a downward trend over the past 30 days. The average unhusked rice price for August is recorded at USD 15.01 per hundredweight, down 5.06 percent compared to the previous month, which was at USD 15.81 per hundredweight. The highest average monthly unhusked rice price in the last 12 months was recorded in May 2024.
