International Rice Price at Rp 4687.6 per Kg (Thursday, August 15, 2024)

Unhusked rice prices on the international market fell on Thursday, August 15, 2024, compared to the previous day. Daily transactions for unhusked rice futures contracts for the next two months were traded at USD 14.728 per hundredweight. This is equivalent to Rp 4687.6 per kg, calculated using the Bank Indonesia exchange rate of Rp 15,914 per dollar.

Based on historical data from investing.com, the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) calculated the average unhusked rice price for the last week at USD 14.86 per hundredweight. This average price is down compared to the previous week, which was recorded at USD 15.18 per hundredweight.

Meanwhile, the monthly unhusked rice price has shown a downward trend over the past 30 days. The average price for August was USD 14.98 per hundredweight, down 5.23 percent compared to the previous month, which stood at USD 15.81 per hundredweight. The highest average monthly unhusked rice price in the last 12 months was recorded in May 2024.
