Apple, the World's Largest Company by Market Capitalization in Q1 2021

Apple, the American technology company, had a market capitalization of US$ 2.1 trillion in the first quarter of 2021. This value propelled Apple up two ranks from the first quarter of 2020, making it the largest in the world.

Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco and Microsoft both experienced a decline in ranking in the first three months of the year. Their market capitalizations were recorded at US$ 1.9 trillion and US$ 1.8 trillion, respectively.

Other companies with market capitalizations exceeding US$ 1 trillion include Amazon and Alphabet, at US$ 1.6 trillion and US$ 1.4 trillion respectively. Facebook's market capitalization was US$ 839 billion, Tencent's US$ 753 billion, and Tesla's US$ 641 billion.

Alibaba, a Chinese company, also made the list with a market capitalization of US$ 615 billion. Berkshire Hathaway's market capitalization of US$ 588 billion placed the financial company in the next position.
