The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) strengthened by 21.65 points or 0.32% to 6,786.955 at the close of trading on Monday, March 13, 2023. The index's strengthening was led by energy sector stocks.

On the other hand, nine other sectors were corrected, with the transportation and logistics sector falling the most at minus 1.51%, followed by the basic materials and primary consumer goods sectors, which fell by minus 1.40% and 0.73%, respectively.

Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), today's trading frequency amounted to 1.26 million transactions.

A total of 15.78 billion shares changed hands, with a total transaction value reaching Rp 8.87 trillion.

AMAN, with code AMAN, was the top gainer, strengthening by 24.78%. This was followed by CUAN and PTIS, which strengthened by 24.41% and 17.43%, respectively.

Today's top loser was TRON, which contracted by 6.99%, followed by BBSS and SKBM, which weakened by 6.94% and 6.93%, respectively.

Although the stock index strengthened, the majority of stocks closed lower today. The details are: 380 stocks weakened, 285 stocks were stagnant, and 190 stocks strengthened.
