Perry Warjiyo, Governor of Bank Indonesia for Two Periods: What is His Net Worth?

According to Law Number 3 of 2004 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia, the candidate for Governor of BI is proposed and then appointed by the President with the approval of the DPR.

Perry, born in Sukoharjo 64 years ago, is an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta, class of 1982. He earned a master's degree from Iowa State University in 1989 and a Ph.D. from the same university in 1991.

According to the BI website, before becoming governor in 2018, Perry served as Deputy Governor of BI from 2013-2018.

He also previously served as Assistant Governor for Monetary, Macroprudential, and International Policies.

He held this position after serving as Executive Director of the BI's Economic Research and Monetary Policy Department.
