Top 10 State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with the Highest Profits in 2018

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE), achieved the highest profit in 2018. This government-owned company, traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange under the code BBRI, recorded a net profit of Rp 32.35 trillion, surpassing all other SOEs.

The SOE with the second-highest profit was PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, at Rp 25.02 trillion, followed by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in third place with a profit of Rp 18.03 trillion.

The total profit of the 10 SOEs with the highest profits reached Rp 124.94 trillion, approximately 90% of the total SOE profit of Rp 138.11 trillion in 2018. For information, the total number of SOEs by the end of 2018 was 113 companies, with 100 of them recording profits.
