The survey showed that 38.6% of respondents conducted transactions using electronic money less than once a month.

"Because digital platforms are more flexible and easily accessible, while cards are generally for transportation or specific locations," Komdigi wrote.

Komdigi conducted this survey on 18,564 individuals aged 15-64 and 11,901 business units spread across 514 regencies/cities in Indonesia.
