Recent 3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Cianjur Regency

A recent earthquake measuring 3.7 magnitude struck Cianjur Regency on January 28, 2023. According to a release from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the earthquake's epicenter was located on land, approximately 21 kilometers northeast of Cianjur Regency.

"Earthquake felt, Magnitude: 3.7 on January 28, 2023, 10:02:10 AM," BMKG wrote in its release. The earthquake occurred at coordinates 6.72°S (South Latitude) and 107.30°E (East Longitude).
