PT Pertamina (Persero) has again increased the price of non-subsidized fuel (BBM) starting August 3, 2022. The non-subsidized fuel prices that have increased are Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex.
In its release, Pertamina adjusted the prices of general fuel oil (BBM) to implement the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree (Kepmen) No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Basic Formula for Prices in Calculating the Retail Selling Price of General Gasoline and Diesel Fuel distributed through Public Fuel Filling Stations.
At Pertamina gas stations in Jakarta and surrounding areas, the price of Pertamax Turbo increased by Rp1,700 per liter to Rp17,900 per liter starting August 3, 2022, from the previous price. The price of Dexlite increased by Rp2,800 per liter to Rp17,800 per liter, and the price of Pertamina Dex increased by Rp2,400 per liter to Rp18,900 per liter.
Meanwhile, subsidized fuel, namely Pertalite, remains at Rp7,650 per liter. Similarly, the non-subsidized fuel Pertamax (RON 92) remains unchanged at Rp12,500 per liter.
