Pertamina Patra Niaga announced that the price of non-subsidized fuel (BBM) will not increase in June 2024.
This decision was made by Pertamina despite the rising trend of world oil prices and the weakening of the Indonesian Rupiah against the US dollar.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary, Irto, explained that the decision refers to several aspects stipulated in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 concerning the price formulation of JBU or non-subsidized fuel.
This regulation states that the calculation of fuel prices is influenced, among other things, by the US dollar exchange rate and the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) benchmark.
"The adjustment of non-subsidized fuel prices does refer to regulations. However, under the current conditions, we support the government's efforts to maintain economic stability," said Irto, as reported by *Katadata.co.id* on Saturday (1/6/2024).
The following is a list of Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel prices as of June 2024:
* Pertamax: Rp12,950 per liter
* Pertamax Green 95: Rp13,900 per liter
* Pertamax Turbo: Rp14,400 per liter
* Dexlite: Rp14,550 per liter
* Pertamina Dex: Rp15,100 per liter
These prices apply to the Java region and areas with a 5% motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB).
