Pertamina's Non-Subsidized Fuel Prices Drop in September 2024: Details Inside

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has lowered prices for non-subsidized fuel (BBM) effective September 1, 2024. The price reduction applies to the Pertamax Series and Dex Series.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari stated that non-subsidized fuel prices will continue to be adjusted based on average oil price trends.

"This is based on price assessments from the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) or Argus, and also considers the Indonesian Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar," said Heppy in an official statement, as reported by *Katadata* on Sunday (September 1, 2024).

She emphasized that the evaluation and adjustment of non-subsidized fuel prices are conducted regularly every month. Therefore, these fuel prices may still increase or decrease.

"In September, all Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel prices have decreased," said Heppy.

The following details the Pertamina fuel prices in and around Jakarta, effective September 2, 2024, and a comparison with the previous month:

Non-Subsidized Fuel:

* Pertamina Dex: Rp14,550 per liter, down from Rp15,650 per liter
* Dexlite: Rp14,050 per liter, down from Rp15,350 per liter
* Pertamax Turbo: Rp14,470 per liter, down from Rp15,400 per liter
* Pertamax Green 95: Rp13,650 per liter, down from Rp15,000 per liter
* Pertamax: Rp12,950 per liter, down from Rp13,700 per liter

Subsidized Fuel:

* Pertalite: Rp10,000 per liter, unchanged
* Subsidized Biosolar: Rp6,800 per liter, unchanged

These prices apply to Jakarta and areas with a 5% Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB).
