SKK Migas Targets 2017 Oil Lifting of 825,000 barrels per day (bpd)

The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) targets oil lifting of 825,000 barrels per day (bpd). This figure is higher than the target in the 2017 State Budget, which was 815,000 bpd. The increase in the Cepu Block production target to 200,000 bpd in 2017 from 169,000 bpd in the previous year makes SKK Migas optimistic that oil lifting will exceed the 2017 State Budget target.

Oil lifting realization reached 822,000 bpd, higher than the target in the 2016 Revised State Budget of 820,000 bpd. The commencement of operations of Train B at the Banyu Urip Cepu field has been able to support oil production capacity of 185,000 bpd since early January 2016.

Throughout January-November 2016, the Contractor Contract of Work (KKKS) had carried out 212 development well drilling activities, 1,055 workover activities, and 33,925 well service activities.
