Tapera BP Committee Salary List, Highest Rp43 Million

President Joko Widodo mandated a 3% deduction from private sector workers' salaries for the People's Housing Savings (Tapera) managed by BP Tapera.

This deduction is stipulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 21 of 2024 concerning People's Housing Savings (Tapera), signed on May 20, 2024.

According to the official BP Tapera website, its management consists of a committee and commissioners. The committee includes several *ex officio* ministerial officials: the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono; the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani; the Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah; and a Member of the OJK (Financial Services Authority) Board of Commissioners, Friderica Widyasari Dewi.

In addition to these individuals, the BP Tapera Committee also includes professionals, although their names are not listed.

The salaries of the Tapera Committee are regulated in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 9 of 2023 concerning Honorariums, Incentives, and Other Additional Benefits.

The highest honorarium is paid to professional committee members, amounting to Rp 43.34 million. The Chairperson of the Tapera Committee, whose position is *ex officio* from among the ministers, receives Rp 32.5 million.

Other ministers serving *ex officio* on the BP Tapera receive Rp 29.25 million per month.

In addition to honorariums, the BP Tapera Committee also receives allowances, including a holiday allowance (THR) equivalent to one month's honorarium, transportation allowance, insurance allowance, and other allowances.

This presidential regulation also states that all salaries paid to the chairperson and members of the committee will be subject to income tax (PPh), in accordance with applicable regulations.
