The Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (IKN), Bambang Susantono, and his deputy, Dhony Rahajoe, have resigned from their positions. This was announced by the Minister of State Secretary, Pratikno, on Monday, June 3, 2024.
“A Presidential Decree has been issued regarding the dismissal of Mr. Bambang Susantono as Head of the IKN Authority and Mr. Dhony Rahajoe as Deputy Head of the IKN Authority. This is accompanied by an expression of gratitude for their service,” said Pratikno, as reported by *Kompas.com*, Monday, June 3, 2024.
Previously, Bambang and Dhony were inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as Head and Deputy Head of the IKN Authority for the 2022-2027 period on March 10, 2022.
Following their resignations, President Jokowi appointed the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, Basuki Hadimuljono, as the Acting Head of the Authority. The deputy position has been filled by the Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN, Raja Juli Antoni.
During their tenure, the salaries of the IKN Authority head were regulated in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 13 of 2023 concerning Financial Entitlements and Other Facilities for the Head and Deputy Head of the IKN Authority.
The Presidential Regulation states that the Head of the IKN Authority receives financial entitlements totaling Rp172,72 million per month. This comprises a basic salary and allowances, detailed as follows:
* Basic Salary: Rp5,040,000
* Attached Allowances (family allowance and rice allowance): Rp648,840
* Position Allowance: Rp13,608,000
* Performance Allowance: Rp153,422,000
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the IKN Authority receives Rp155,18 million per month, detailed as follows:
* Basic Salary: Rp4,899,300
* Attached Allowances (family allowance and rice allowance): Rp634,770
* Position Allowance: Rp11,566,800
* Performance Allowance: Rp138,079,800
In addition, both also receive operational funds to support their work. Operational funds for the Head of the IKN Authority amount to Rp178 million, and for the Deputy Head, Rp145 million.
However, operational funds are disbursed with 80% as a lump sum and 20% for other operational support. A lump sum is a broad payment method made based on a specific contract.
