The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in the Mentawai Islands Regency reached 1.33% in 2023. This figure is a decrease of 0.06% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 1.39%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 1.46%.
The open unemployment rate (OUR) over the past five years reached its highest point in 2020 at 3.98% and its lowest point in 2023 at 1.33%.
