2023 Data: Unemployment in Alor Regency is 2.52%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reports that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Alor Regency reached 2.52% in 2023. This figure increased by 0.25% compared to December 2022, which recorded 2.27%. However, compared to December 2021, it decreased by 0.07%.

Since 2004, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Alor Regency has shown a downward trend in terms of numbers. Similarly, the post-COVID-19 pandemic conditions, which began in March 2020, also contributed to a decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Alor Regency.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 335th nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.6%.

The increase in the open unemployment rate (OUR) is inseparable from the data on the number of the workforce in this region.
