2022 Data: Unemployment in Pidie Jaya Regency is 4.4%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Pidie Jaya Regency reached 4.34% in 2023. This figure decreased by 0.06% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 4.4%. However, compared to December 2021, the figure increased by 0.77%.

Since 2008, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Pidie Jaya Regency has shown a downward trend in terms of numbers. Similarly, the post-Covid-19 pandemic condition, which began in March 2020, caused the open unemployment rate (OUR) to decrease in Pidie Jaya Regency.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 204th nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.6%.

The reduction in the open unemployment rate (OUR) this year can be seen from the condition of the number of the workforce and the number of employed people.
