The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has opened 26,319 positions for prospective civil servants (CPNS) or prospective state civil apparatus (CASN) in 2024.

These positions consist of 6,385 CPNS Technical Staff; 3 CPNS Health Workers; and 19,931 PPPK Technical Staff. This plan has been approved by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemen PANRB).

"It is hoped that this number of needs can fulfill competent human resources that will create breakthroughs in infrastructure development," said Minister of Kemen PANRB Abdullah Azwar Anas during the Handing Over of the Principle Permit for ASN Formation at the Ministry of PUPR in 2024, in Jakarta, Thursday (19/04/2024), quoted from the official Kemen PANRB website.

Azwar stated that the Ministry of PUPR, as the institution responsible for infrastructure development, including the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), has a direct impact on improving the economy and public services.

The fulfillment of human resources in the Ministry of PUPR is also in line with one of the policy directions for CASN recruitment in 2024, namely supporting the effectiveness of IKN's work.

Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono also appreciated the Ministry of PANRB in fulfilling the proposed needs of ASN for the Ministry of PUPR.

"In addition, this proposal is also to resolve existing non-ASN personnel within the Ministry of PUPR," said Basuki.
