Participating Companies of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan RI Continue to Grow until the End of 2025

Data from the Ministry of Manpower shows that as of December 2025, there are 875,641 companies registered as active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

The number of companies participating in this social security program has increased for 9 consecutive months since April 2025. However, the total is still lower than at the end of 2024, as shown in the chart.

During this period, the highest number of active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participant companies were located in East Java, reaching 132,364 companies.

This was followed by Jakarta with 116,824 companies, Central Java with 107,420 companies, and West Java with 98,029 companies.

Based on their business type, the majority, or 705,897 active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participant companies, are classified as micro-enterprises.

Furthermore, 83,251 companies are classified as small-scale, 49,924 as large-scale, and 36,569 as medium-scale.

The following are the business scale criteria based on Government Regulation Number 7 of 2021:

• Micro-enterprise: Maximum business capital of Rp1 billion, excluding land and buildings for business premises; maximum annual sales of Rp2 billion.
• Small-enterprise: Business capital of more than Rp1 billion up to Rp5 billion, excluding land and buildings for business premises; annual sales of more than Rp2 billion up to Rp15 billion.
• Medium-enterprise: Business capital of more than Rp5 billion up to Rp10 billion, excluding land and buildings for business premises; annual sales of more than Rp15 billion up to Rp50 billion.
• Large-enterprise: Business capital and annual sales greater than those of medium-scale enterprises.
