H-1 Closing of 2024 Civil Servant Recruitment (CPNS), These are the Institutions with the Most Applicants

Registration for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) opened on August 20, 2024, and will close on September 10, 2024, at 23:59 WIB.

Based on data from the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), as of September 9, 2024, at 20:00 WIB, more than 3.6 million people had registered.

Of that number, 2.1 million people had submitted their documents or completed registration.

Furthermore, 1.37 million applicants have been verified as meeting the agency's requirements, while 245,381 applicants were deemed ineligible.

"Always read the instruction manual and agency announcements before registering. Avoid submitting/resuming at the last minute," wrote BKN on its Instagram account on Monday (9/9/2024).

As of one day before the closing of the 2024 CPNS registration, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) remained the most popular central agency with 541,647 applicants. This is despite the ministry only offering 9,070 positions.

Here is a list of the top 10 central agencies with the most CPNS applicants as of September 9, 2024:

1. Ministry of Law and Human Rights: 541,647 applicants
2. Ministry of Religious Affairs: 287,683 applicants
3. Ministry of Health: 102,989 applicants
4. Ministry of Communication and Informatics: 82,136 applicants
5. Attorney General's Office: 79,778 applicants
6. Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology: 66,164 applicants
7. Ministry of Defense: 42,830 applicants
8. Ministry of Environment and Forestry: 41,812 applicants
9. National Population and Family Planning Agency: 37,504 applicants
10. Ministry of Finance: 36,927 applicants

Meanwhile, the least popular central agencies were the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) with 380 applicants, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) with 440 applicants, and the Secretariat of the National Human Rights Commission (Setjen Komnas HAM) with 459 applicants.
