H-2 Closing of 2024 CPNS, These Central Government Institutions Received the Most Applicants

Registration for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) opened on August 20, 2024, and will close on September 6, 2024.

According to data from the National Personnel Agency (BKN), as of 5 PM WIB on September 4, 2024, approximately 2.71 million people have registered.

Of that number, 952,581 have submitted their documents and completed the registration process. 546,238 applicants have been verified as meeting the agency's requirements, while 100,204 applicants have been deemed ineligible.

The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) remains the most popular central government agency, with 414,760 applicants, despite only offering 9,070 positions.

The following is a list of the top 10 central government agencies with the most CPNS applicants as of September 4, 2024:

1. Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham): 414,760 applicants
2. Ministry of Religious Affairs: 127,501 applicants
3. Ministry of Health: 78,937 applicants
4. Attorney General's Office: 68,255 applicants
5. Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemenkominfo): 59,963 applicants
6. Ministry of Defense: 35,943 applicants
7. Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek): 34,343 applicants
8. Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK): 30,958 applicants
9. Ministry of Finance: 27,763 applicants
10. National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN): 26,905 applicants

Meanwhile, the least popular central government agencies so far are the Secretariat General of the National Commission on Human Rights (Setjen Komnas HAM) with 292 applicants, the Secretariat General of the People's Consultative Assembly (Setjen Jenderal MPR) with 306 applicants, and the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) with 311 applicants.
