2023 Data: Unemployment in Tomohon City Reaches 8.52%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reports that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Tomohon City reached 8.52% in 2023. This figure increased by 0.41% compared to December 2022, which recorded 8.11%. However, compared to December 2021, it decreased by 0.32%.

Over the past five years, the highest open unemployment rate (OUR) was recorded in 2020 at 8.99%, while the lowest was recorded in 2019 at 7.48%.

Compared to other regencies/cities, Tomohon City's open unemployment rate (OUR) ranks 25th nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.3%.
