How much did a household assistant earn in August 2021?

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the average nominal wage for domestic helpers (ART) at Rp 425,353 per month in August 2021. This figure increased by 0.17% compared to July 2021, which was Rp 424,631 per month.

The average real wage for ART was recorded at Rp 399,105 per month in August 2021. This value also increased by 0.14% compared to July 2021, which was Rp 398,547 per month.

Compared to August 2020, the average nominal wage for ART in the previous month increased by 1.31%. Meanwhile, the average real wage for ART in August 2021 decreased by 0.29%.

Meanwhile, the average nominal wage for construction workers was recorded at Rp 91,217 per day in August 2021. This figure increased by 0.05% from the previous month, which was Rp 91,171 per day.

The average real wage for construction workers reached Rp 85,587 per day last month. This value also increased by 0.02% from July 2021, which was Rp 85,570 per day.
