This is a List of the Best Private High Schools in Indonesia Based on University Entrance Exam Results

Unggul Del Senior High School (SMA) in North Sumatra is ranked as the best private senior high school in Indonesia by the College Entrance Test Institution (LTMPT). This is because the school achieved the highest average Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) score in the 2020 Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK), namely 598.523.

The following ranks are occupied by SMAK 1 BPK Penabur Jakarta and SMAK 1 BPK Penabur Bandung, which each have an average TPS score of 594.437 and 592.52, respectively. Then, the average TPS score for SMA Dian Harapan is recorded at 589.811 and SMA Katolik St. Louis 1 at 587.81.

Furthermore, several other private senior high schools have average TPS scores in the 584 range, such as SMA Kristen Petra 2, SMA Kanisius, and SMA Santa Laurensia. Meanwhile, the average TPS score at SMA Bina Bhakti is 582.568 and SMAK 6 BPK Penabur Jakarta is 582.07.

LTMPT calculates the school's average TPS score from the scores of participants from that school. Schools that meet the criteria are those with a minimum of 20 UTBK 2020 participants.

A total of 21,302 schools participated in the UTBK last year. However, only 6,319 schools met LTMPT's criteria and were included in this ranking.
