List of Indonesian Universities with the Most LPDP Alumni

Gadjah Mada University (UGM) has the highest number of alumni recipients of the Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) managed by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) in Indonesia. As of December 31, 2020, UGM had graduated 1,085 LPDP students.

University of Indonesia (UI) ranks second with 726 LPDP alumni. This is followed by the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) with 677 alumni.

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) has 336 LPDP alumni. Next is the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) with 222 alumni.

For your information, LPDP scholarships will soon be opened this year. Registration for the LPDP scholarship for the 2022/2023 academic year will be held twice. The first phase will open in February-March 2022 and the second phase in July-August 2022.

According to the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, LPDP alumni are national assets. Scholarship recipients who can continue their education at the highest level represent a very small portion of the Indonesian population, only about 0.01%.

The Minister of Finance requested that this opportunity provided by the state should encourage LPDP alumni to continue contributing to Indonesia. She hopes that alumni will not only focus on their own interests but also continue to consider what more they can give to Indonesia.
