More than one-third of Jakarta's population has completed upper secondary education.

More than one-third of the population of Jakarta has completed upper secondary education (SLTA). This group represents the largest segment of the population compared to other educational levels.

Based on data from the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil), the number of Jakarta residents with education up to SLTA reaches 4.34 million people, or 38.57% of the capital's total population.

The next largest educational level is lower secondary education (SLTP) with 1.48 million people (13.19%). This is followed by Bachelor's degree (Strata/S1) with 1.17 million people (10.38%) and primary school (SD) with 915.07 million people (8.14%). *(Note: There appears to be a significant error in the number for SD graduates; it is likely a typo and should be significantly lower, perhaps in the hundreds of thousands.)*

The capital's population with tertiary education totals 1.71 million (15.16%). This includes 38,260 graduates of D1 and D2 programs, 377,860 graduates of D3 programs, 1.17 million S1 graduates, 114,930 S2 graduates, and 7,100 S3 graduates.

Meanwhile, the number of Jakarta residents who have not attended school is 1.75 million, or 15.56% of the total population.
