Sports Become Children's Favorite Subject in School

MarkPlus, Inc.'s survey shows that physical education is the most favored school subject among children. 31.4% of child respondents stated that this was their favorite subject.

The next most popular subject is English, cited by 26% of respondents. 24.9% of respondents stated that their favorite subject is Indonesian.

21.9% of respondents said they liked religious studies. Meanwhile, 21.6% of respondents favored mathematics.

MarkPlus surveyed 890 respondents, comprising 390 from vocational high schools (SMK) and 500 from vocational schools, spread across 10 Indonesian provinces. Respondents ranged in age from 13 to 65 years old and included parents and students from elementary school to senior high school/vocational high school (SMA/SMK). The margin of error for this study is 5% with a 95% confidence level.
