The Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) under the Ministry of Finance announced that the endowment fund it manages has reached Rp154.19 trillion from 2013 until early October 2025.

Sudarto explained that LPDP serves as an endowment fund manager to ensure the sustainability of long-term education funding.

According to Sudarto, LPDP not only focuses on scholarships but also strengthens the national research and innovation ecosystem.

This year, LPDP projects higher spending from investment returns, but claims it remains under control with strict risk governance.

LPDP's investment portfolio has so far recorded an average annual return of 7.1%.

"We ensure there is no mismatch between management and revenue. LPDP is managed with principles of good governance and a long-term orientation," Sudarto explained.
