The National College Entrance Test Agency (LTMPT) recorded 192,810 participants who passed and were accepted into state universities through the 2022 SBMPTN pathway. This means that only 24.07% of participants passed out of a total of 800,852 participants who took the test this year.
Based on province, East Java had the highest number of successful participants through the 2022 SBMPTN pathway, with 26,781 participants.
This number accounts for 23.66% of the total 113,193 SBMPTN 2022 test takers from East Java.
West Java is in second place with 19,491 participants accepted through this year's SBMPTN pathway. This amounts to 15.87% of the total 122,833 SBMPTN 2022 test takers in this province.
Next, Central Java and North Sumatra occupy the third and fourth positions. The number of participants who passed the 2022 SBMPTN pathway in Central Java was 16,222, and in North Sumatra, 15,829.

The majority of successful SBMPTN 2022 participants came from the Saintek (Science and Technology) examination group. A total of 88,703 participants were accepted out of 359,791 participants, or approximately 24.65% of the total participants in this examination group.
Then, in the Soshum (Social Sciences and Humanities) examination group, 86,801 participants were accepted into the 2022 SBMPTN from a total of 372,714 participants. This amounts to 23.29% of the total Soshum examination participants.
Meanwhile, in the combined Saintek and Soshum examination group, 17,306 participants were accepted out of a total of 68,347 participants. This comprises 25.32% of the total participants in the combined examination group.
