East Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Chili Price Down (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Kalimantan today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (23/1/2024) at 11:46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, red chilies, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, mackerel, milkfish, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Wheat flour (bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp670 (6.2%) to Rp11,470 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,900 (5.06%) to Rp35,660 per kg.
