The daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in West Java Province has decreased by 0.7% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in West Java Province is recorded at Rp14,250. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp14,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in West Java over the past three months has decreased by 0.35%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in West Java Province is traded at Rp14,300.

The record high for the daily price of medium-quality II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2016 with an increase of 30.35%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2016 with a decrease of -23.28%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java recorded one commodity decreasing and 19 others increasing. The basic commodity with a price decrease is Fresh Broiler Chicken.
