Lampung's Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (21/5/2024) at 16.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, dry soybean (import), premium rice, curly red chili, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, granulated sugar, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,420 (3.18%) to Rp46,100 per kg. Meanwhile, garlic cloves had the lowest price decrease of Rp320 (0.78%) to Rp40,460 per kg.
